TWO SEMESTER CLASS

This class is offered alongside the Drama Club - Performance class, at the same time and in the same classroom. This is for students who are interested in the backstage aspect of our drama production - set design and construction, sound, costumes, and more. These students will work with the entire drama club to plan and design the performance of our end-of-year play, and even act as understudies for some of our principal characters.
Theater Tech students will also participate in group activities such as warm-up, theater games, and improv exercises, as these things serve to building the feeling of a cohesive team that includes both onstage and backstage students. I would prefer for these students to commit to both Fall and Spring semester if possible, but one semester is acceptable for this class.
Students need to be able to read a script and possible memorize some lines. This class requires full participation in group activities.
4th Period: Journalism (8-12th grade)
